Below you will find all sorts of questions that have been asked with answers explaining everything you would need to know about renting an RV or motorhome. If you decide to use another RV rental company, these questions are all very important to have answers to before you ever pickup the RV.
Yes, we will deliver any of our trailers on your next getaway. Delivery is a flat fee per mile from our office, also professionally setup for free so they’re ready for camping when you arrive. We’ll meet you there to show you how everything works, hand over the keys, and finish the paperwork. And when your trip is over, we’ll come back and break down and dump the holding tanks.
Anywhere within about 80 miles radius of our location in Allenstown, NH – campgrounds, race tracks, driveways, production-rentals, and more. That’s far enough to get you to White Mountain National Forest, the Atlantic Ocean, parts of Vermont and into Maine.
Many of our renters have never set foot inside of a camper; all you need is the hunger for a new adventure. For every renter (even the seasoned folks), we provide an in-person orientation and instruction session to help you become acclimated to your new (temporary) home. In the event that your camper has been set up at a campsite before your arrival, please call us immediately at (603) 944-9300, and your orientation and training will be done over the phone. If you have any issues or questions during your adventures, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help make your experience unforgettable.
Yes! The propane is topped of before you pickup the RV rental. You do not have to bring the RV back with a full tank.
Only when requested by the customer, most campgrounds have a supply at your site. The only time you may need the water tank filled is if you are going "off grid".
RVs would be picked up at our office 112 Granite St Allenstown, NH 03275. If you are having the RV delivered it would be brought to your location of choosing and we would professionally set it up for you.
You can pick-up the RV rental as early as 9am. Otherwise you can pick up the RV rental starting at 2pm. We schedule in one hour increments. If you are not on time for your departure you will be assessed a fee. Return times are at 11am. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you cannot return the RV by 11am, then you will be assessed fees according to the time you return the RV rental. Please read the rental contract for specifics. The reason for the fees is that there may be more than one RV being rented that day and Royal RV Rentals has a schedule to keep with other RVs being rented.
In most cases yes but most of the time the RV is currently rented out. Please contact Royal RV Rentals to schedule a meeting.
This can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. If you have already rented a travel trailer or are familiar with them, then the time will drastically decrease.
What type of camping environment do you want? We can recommend any number of facilities within 80 miles or so of our location, depending on your interests.
All of our rentals are covered by our commercial policy.
No. No personal items are covered under Royal RV Rentals insurance policy. Royal RV Rentals is not liable for any personal belongings while you are renting the RV. Royal RV Rentals recommends you secure your valuables or do not bring them along.
Yes, A valid credit card to cover the security deposit of $500. This is to cover the insurance deductible in the event of a claim and any minor replacement or repair costs if the vehicle is damaged. This is only an authorization on your credit card and is not taken until time of pickup; similar to a hotel or car rental.
All RV rentals have a prep fee (preparation), The prep fee is $50 and covers a handful of things for the preparation of the rental. This includes restocking cleaning supplies, toilet paper, return inspection, routine cleaning, washing linens, and the walk-through process. The credit card processing fee is 3% to process the RV reservation.
No. We have no way to rent the RV once it is returned early. The calendar would show unavailable.
Yes. It is $100 for the first hour and $35 for each additional hour. Anything after 5pm is considered another night. Please read the rental agreement for more details.
If you are renting a generator, it is $25 /day for unlimited use. If you are renting a travel trailer and do not have electrical hookups, it is highly recommended that you use an external generator with at least 2500 watts in the winter or 3500~4000 watts in the summer to run the AC. If you rent a generator from us, you must return the generator rental with a full tank of gas.
You have to be 25 years of age or older with a valid driver's license and proper insurance.
RV’s are supposed to be limited for use on paved roads. Royal RV Rentals understands there are occasions when you need to take dirt roads to get to your destination. Just remember you are responsible for the tires on the RV should something happen.
Yes Roadside assistance is standard with all of out trailer rentals.
Royal RV Rentals understands things happen. Please contact Royal RV Rentals immediately. You are not authorized to perform any work on the RV rental. Depending on what is wrong Royal RV Rentals will do our very best to get you back on the road. If it is no fault of your own or neglect and is just an RV issue we will cover the repairs. If it is determined that you, the renter is at fault, you will cover the repairs. If Royal RV Rentals cannot get you back on the road, you will be refunded the difference for your remaining trip. We do not cover any hotels or car rentals.
Trailers & Towable RVs do not come with linens or towels.
Camper comes fully equipped with dishes & utensils, coffee pot, toaster, rv toilet paper, pots and pans, silverware, mugs and cups, grilling tools and so much more.
Yes. You are required to return any RV rental back the same way you received it. This means, outside washed, interior cleaned, water filled, holding tanks dumps, fuel filled and propane filled.
Yes! The RV is always cleaned and ready to go for your rental.
Yes. We offer a package called the, "Outdoor Essential Package". With this kit, you receive all the fun necessities to complete your outdoor adventure. You’ll be able to sit outside comfortably, cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner conveniently outside the RV, not having to worry about bugs, all while the kids are playing games. Plus, you don’t need to worry about driving all over trying to find these important amenities.

Not necessarily, but it is always a good idea to stay somewhere with ‘full hook-ups’. This will include electricity, water and sewer. TV and internet is completely optional. Having full hook-ups will limit your use on the generator to power your RV rental.
The battery / batteries in an RV are not designed to run the whole electrical system. They are designed to get you between powered locations. Meaning from one campsite to another or if you are dry camping from one night to the morning. You will have to use the generator or turn the engine on to keep the batteries charged.
In order to keep our campers pristine, we also prohibit smoking in the units. A $300 fee will be assessed for fumigation if travel trailers smell smoky at the end of a rental period.
Trailers and towables are a 3 night minimum.
Yes, please read our pet policy in your rental contract.
Yes. We ask every customer that whatever you use, please wash it for the next guest. At this time, our team doesn't swap the kitchen package sets. So please wash what you use so the next customer can enjoy!
